Recording and managing footage from up to eight analog or HD cameras in a single compact unit, the Hikvision DS-7108HGHI-MI(C) brings 8-channel Mini 1U DVR capability to small and mid-sized surveillance setups. It supports Turbo HD, AHD, and analog video inputs through an 8-channel HDTVI coaxial interface, so existing analog camera cabling can often be reused. IP video input is also supported for up to 2 channels, extendable to 10, allowing a mix of analog and network cameras on the same recorder as a site grows.
Recording runs at HD1080P Lite resolution at 15fps per channel, with H.265 compression reducing the storage space each stream consumes. Full-Channel Motion Detection 2.0 minimizes false alarms across every connected channel, keeping alert footage relevant. HDMI and VGA outputs allow simultaneous display on two screens, a single SATA interface accommodates a hard drive for local storage, and a 1-channel RCA audio input handles dedicated audio recording alongside the video feeds.
